Top 5 Antics of a Bachelor

[ Monday, June 14, 2010 | Comments ]
1.  Instead of doing laundry, he just buys new clothes. This is especially true for socks, boxers and under shirts. Every guy knows you can wear jeans and shorts for weeks without washing them. Also on this point, instead of doing laundry he brings it to the dry cleaners. (I hate laundry with a passion.)

2.  If you take a look through a single guy's trash (which you're a sick freak if you do), you would notice that the contents are mainly made up of take-out food and frozen pizza wrappers, except when it's grilling season. Then you would see a bunch of meat wrappers as well.

3.  His bed is never made. Why would he make his bed when he's just going to use it at the end of the day? The only time you might see a bachelor's bed made is if he mom was visiting and made it for him. Moms do that for some reason.

4.  ESPN is on 24/7/365, even though he only pays attention to it for about 15 minutes per day. ESPN is always on regardless whether he is there or not. Waste of electricity? Sure, but chances are the remote is lost, and he sure can't be bothered to change the channels.

5.  He never really "gets up" on Sundays. Sure, he might get out of bed, but the day is spent lounging around recovering from the weekend. Read the full story »

Top 5 Likely Fixes for the BP Oil Spill Crisis

| Comments ]
Apparently BP doesn't really care about actually fixing the leaking pipe. Rather, it cares about more important things like its public image and what to do with the skimmed oil. Here are the top 5 most likely solutions that I can imagine:

1. James Cameron - Seriously, why is he brainstorming solutions? What's he going to do, use CGI?

2.  This Dude from New York - Sure, he's not an engineer, but he's done some plumbing around the house. And he shops at Ace Hardware!

3.  Duct Tape and Big League Chew - What can't it fix?

4.  Photoshop CS5 Content Aware Feature - We just need someone who is actually good at Photoshop.
    (Before)
(After - And the Gulf has a new island because of it!)
    5.  Bounty Paper Towels - The Quilted Quicker Picker Upper...from Bounty!
Seriously BP. Get your shit together. At least have a few of your engineers work on the problem.
